Representing the Turkish Defense Industry at the DIMDEX 2024 Pavilion
Our company participated as a significant representative of the Turkish Defense Industry at the DIMDEX2024 exhibition held in Doha, Qatar. During the event, which took place from March 4th to 6th, we showcased the AZAT FPV Kamikaze Drone for the first time at our booth. A news report by AA correspondent Göksel Yıldırım during his visit to our stand increased interest in AZAT.
The Next Generation Kamikaze Drone: AZAT
Developed by Robit Technology, the AZAT FPV kamikaze drone offers a feature that allows the pilot to feel or see the drone in front of their eyes. Introduced at DIMDEX 2024, AZAT weighs approximately 2 kilograms and has a payload capacity of 800 grams. With a 20-minute airborne time and the ability to be controlled at a range of 2.5 kilometers, it can effectively intervene with its target.
In an interview conducted by our Business Development Director Yiğit Özboyacı, the significance of AZAT’s ability to respond to field needs was emphasized, and the product’s features were detailed.
A New Step in the Turkish Defense Industry: FPV Drones
The FPV kamikaze drone AZAT, developed by our company taking inspiration from field needs, attracted attention at the DIMDEX 2024 exhibition. AZAT comes in two different models that allow for various sizes and ammunition usage. It is planned to conduct ammunition tests with AZAT in the near future.
Additionally, we have signed a strategic collaboration agreement with KZ Mechatronics for the development of safe firing systems for kamikaze drones. This collaboration aims to contribute to strengthening the Turkish Defense Industry and providing effective solutions for the country’s security. Among the prominent figures who visited our booth at the DIMDEX 2024 exhibition were Prof. Dr. Haluk GÖRGÜN, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries of the Republic of Türkiye; Major General Rashid Hamad Al Naimi, Commander of the Strategic Research Center of the Qatar Armed Forces; Dr. M. Mustafa GÖKSU, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Doha; and General Arif ÇETİN, Commander of the Gendarmerie General Command of Türkiye.
